Missing Tricycle

A citizen of PSJ asked me to posted this message looking for a tricycle that was taken by accident:

On Monday September 3 between noon and 1 pm a bright yellow truck with an extended cab stopped in front of our house on Kaylor Avenue and picked up our granddaughters small red hot wheels tricycle.  It was left outside the wall by mistake and was not in the trash and was not up for grabs. I am willing to give the benefit of doubt that this was a misunderstanding as often items that are no longer wanted are left out all over the Community for anyone to pick up. We would appreciate very much to have the tricycle returned. If you have any other idea of how I could locate the person that picked up the tricycle, please let me know.

The theme this year is "Santa, the Original Astronaut."

Salute to Brevard Weekend

As a salute to the supportive residents of Brevard County, Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at Kennedy Space Center is hosting the Twelfth Annual Salute to Brevard Residents, a free weekend and food drive, October 21-23, 2011. The Brevard resident and up to five guests will enjoy free admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for this three-day celebration. Residents need to show proof of residency, in the form of a driver's license or utility bill, to gain complimentary admission to the Visitor Complex.

Guests are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to benefit the Central Brevard Sharing Center, North Brevard Charities and South Brevard Sharing Center. While not mandatory for complimentary admission, the suggested donation is at least one food item or canned good per guest.

Please note: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex anticipates high attendance during this weekend.

Lil' Sports Classes at PSJ Com Center

Starting Sept. 8th, Lil' Sports Classes will begin at the Port St. John Community Center!


Lil' Sports and Fitness is a specially designed program for children ages 2.5 - 5 years and is structured to teach the basics in a variety of different sports in a safe, encouraging environment. All the while incorporating various fitness activities that will improve your child's hand eye coordination, gross motor skills, peer-to-peer relationships, and instilling healthy and active lifestyle habits.

We hold classes throughout Brevard and we're really excited to now offer this awesome program to the parents and children of PSJ!

Classes will be held every Thursday at 5:30pm and are 45min long.

Classes are weekly and are only $30 for the entire month.
We'll be starting with Basketball in Sept.

u14 and u16 teams - complete uniform provided, practice two evenings a week with matches on Saturdays or Sundays, teams will travel to away games.

We have our permit in hand. Saturday is a GO. Please let your friends and family know that we will shoot AT DARK! Normally, we wait until 9 pm or a bit later, but the rains have been moving in during the early evening and may continue. If they do, we'll shoot while the shells are dry and before the lightning can start launching shells without control, maybe as early as 7:30 or 8. See you all there! - Randy

$3 Admission to Brevard Zoo

Take advantage of the Zoo’s $3 Admission Day Tuesday, May 24. To celebrate the end of school and while it’s not too hot, the Zoo will offer the special deal all day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last admission is 4:15 p.m. The $3 admission price applies to anyone who is not already a member of Brevard Zoo and is 2 and older. Zoo members and children under 2 still receive free admission into the Zoo.
