Get the Budget in-line Cut back Earmarks in '09

It is projected that Education will have around a 3 billion dollar shortfall this year.
> Earmarks could cover that shortfall -- Specialty items in our state budget that total most of the shortages in Education.
> Cut Earmarks out of budget
> WRITE your LAWMAKERS and tell them to cut back these items and redirect funds to Education.
> Itemized list of earmarks -- in search of watchdog group aware of these earmarks.

Keep watch here we hope to have an itemize list of what the earmarks are to address them.
It is the job of the FL Legistlature and the state constitution garauntees quality education to residents.

In part I wrote to lawmakers this...
Every responsible household in Brevard County, and in Florida State, as well as the United States, has gone through their budgets and itemized things as “luxury” or “necessity.” Florida must do the same and Education is a “necessity!” It is guaranteed by our state constitution. The state must fund the amendments it currently has. This responsibility does not fall on the shoulders of Brevard County. If needed, I will gladly volunteer my time to go through each budget line, and give you a registered voter’s opinion of “luxury” or “necessity”.

Mr. Crisafulli mentioned that the Florida budget is a downsized 8-inch pie and Education is getting the same percentage of the new budget that it has received in the past. We, parents and voters, do not want a smaller slice we demand that Education be served a double serving. Do not serve any more slices of the budget pie to the un-deserving luxury items; turn them away from your table.

"Get the Budget in-line! Cut earmarks funding in '09!"
