I know that Challenger 7 parents like their school. Its a great one. But, do you like the year round schedule?
I think that changing Challenger 7 to a traditional school year would be a better idea than to bus those children that would like the traditional schedule out of Port St. John. This could help alleviate the enrollment at Enterprise and Atlantis.
I could be wrong and you might love the year round schedule. I was under the impression parents just deal with it because that's what schedule the school has. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Parents do not know, they believe it is just a rumor. I implore them to look at the school boards website. This is not a rumor, this is a proposal for next school year. 6th graders at Challenger are affected by this. The majority are in the bus zone to go to Clearlake NEXT YEAR. It is not a rumor.
Hopefully they will not think it is all just a rumor when the information is published in the next Happenings. That should be coming out before the next board meeting.
I do love the year-round schedule, it's a good one for the way that kids work. It just stinks that there is not a middle school or high school that compliments the schedule.
