A Spiritual Renewal Weekend with Rev. Roger Watts and his wife, Judy will take place at the First United Methodist Church (1165 Fay Blvd.) Port St. John. He will bring God’s word on “Using Our Gifts” as we celebrate worship at 7:00 p.m. on both Friday (Sept 10th) and Saturday (Sept 11th) evenings. Also on Saturday morning there will be a FREE breakfast at 8:30 a.m. with Bible study afterwards. – Please call the church office at 631-0183 to reserve a spot for the breakfast by Sept 5th – The weekend concludes with our Sunday Worship services on September 12th at 8:30 a.m. and 10:55 a.m.
Jesus for Junk Yard Sale, September 11 from 8:00am-1:00pm
The youth group at the First United Methodist Church, 1165 Fay Blvd., Port St. John (behind CVS) will conduct their bi-annual Junk for Jesus yard sale on September 11, 2010 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. The funds raised will assist the youth group to carry out mission work locally and in other communities.
If you would like to donate anything for this sale, please contact Linda Terzieff at 243-2812 or Linda.terzieff@gmail.com. And if you can’t get your donations to us, CALL, as we will gladly come and pick-up the items. Thanks!
