Fuel costs - were any activities cancelled?

With the price of gas these days, has the School Board cancelled any Brevard school activities or denied fieldtrips based on this? If so please post it here so we can follow up and find paperwork.
They want to take on a new daily increase in fuel costs by bussing with no end in site.
Larry Hughes' e-newletters just stated Florida has the highest gas prices.
This is a poor choice to add to the fuel consumption/budget by bussing students out of Port St. John when we have a middle school right here!

That's what I thought. Perhaps other areas of Florida are much more than central Florida. Larry Hughes, a member of our school board, published this in his e-newsletter...

First in the Nation! Florida has the highest gas prices in the nation, 6 cents higher than the national average, according to a recent survey.

If you would like to subscribe to his, FYI: Access e-newsletter you find him at this...
