Please, please look closer at the revisions on tonight's agenda! It states specifically all students on "out of areas" attending Atlantis and Enterprise will be bussed to Imperial Estates-- this is a revision. It is a PDF file on the School Board site... look at tonight's school board agenda. Item G for area 4. Look at the line right above the yellow banner that says ANTICIPATED changes. It says current students at Atlantis an Enterprise. You must spread the word and call the school board members.
Prospective students in the Challenger attendance boundary who choose not to attend year-round school will be bussed to Imperial Estates.. It is estimated that about 25% of those propsective students will choose to attend Challenge rather than Imperial Estates. Based on this assumption, approximately 190 prospective students currently attending Enterprise and Atlantis will attend Imperial Estates.

If I was in that boundary I would take the year round schooling over getting sent up to Titusville.
I'm more bothered by the students that have spent 4+ years at one school (Enterprise in our case) and now for their last year (or 2) of elementary education they are forced to switch schools. I would really like to think that it won't really affect current students... But I am concerned. I also, would pick year-round vs. Titusville...
I wrote to the board, DiPatri and Bobay -- so far I have heard back from Mr. Hughes...

I believe that was a misstatement.
I'll clarify tonight that we are voting on a soft redistricting.

Okay, okay it was all me. I learned of the new agenda for the school board meeting just hours before the meeting I read too much into "revised". The soft re-districting item for area four was simply "revised" to drop the middle school item until a future date. So everyone in Enterprise and Atlantis stays put. WHEW! That's all we want. This holds to the School Board's plan of holding our children harmless. WHEW, again. So we can breath easier for a few months. In June, they plan to revisit what they want to have happen with Port St John middle grades. The elementary school soft redistricting was approved for public notice last night 2/12. You keep me posted and I'll keep you up on it.
