Team Kyle Benefit Information

The benefit is this Sunday. Here is some more information from Kim.

The Benefit is sliding up on us very quickly. We are working very hard to get everything together and are hoping that everything works out okay. Below I will list some info for those that have volunteered to set up a booth or help.

1. We will have a "command center" table set up over near the concession stand starting at 10AM. Please report to this table to find out where you need to set up. I've had several people ask what time they need to be there. Anytime after 10 is fine. Just remember that the Benefit starts at 1:00 so get there in time to set up.

2. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring your own table and tent. We have a limited number of tables so please bring whatever you need to set up your stuff. Also, unless you have already discussed "power" with us, you will need to bring a generator if you need power. If you have any problems with this, let me know and I will see if we can line you one up.

3. In case you don't know, the Rockets already have their "Trophy Day" set up that day for their NFL Flag Season from 12:00-1:00. Please remember that this will be going on while you are setting up your booths.

4. For those that are not providing a particular "booth" but have offered help. There will be many places that need help during the day. One of the biggest will be the concession stand. Please be aware that we need a ton of help in this area. If you are looking for something to do, this is the first place to look. If we are running short in the concession we will page for help and hopefully get some response.

5. All the men that have offered help....I have a job for you. We need at least three people to run the grill area at all times. We need someone to run the grill, someone to run the fryer and someone to take tickets and do buns. Three is the absolute MINIMUM that we need at anytime. Hopefully we don't have the same people stuck on the grill all day. Any of you guys who are able to help out in this area, stop by the grill area and see when they can use you.

6. I'm confident that we are going to have lots of help throughout the day, but one of my concerns is for clean up time. I know most people will be ready to head home after the candlelight ceremony is over. After all the next day is a school/work day. If you are able to stay for just a little bit to clean up though, that would be WONDERFUL! There will be a lot to do. The whole area needs to be picked up and the concession stand/grill area will need to be cleaned. The more people that are able to stay the earlier we will all be able to go home.

7. We will be selling tickets for 25 cents each. We will also be selling "unlimited" bracelets for $10.00 Obviously these bracelets will have exceptions. They will not be good for food nor will they work for things that are merchandise those things will be priced separately. They will work for the game booths and things such as the bouncy houses and dunking booth.

8. If you are running a booth, please provide a sign for that booth saying what it is and how many "tickets" it will cost. (remember tickets are 25 cents each, so base it upon that). We cannot provide signs for everyone, so just bring yours with you.

9. We are going to need volunteers for so many different areas, so please make sure that you line whatever people you will need to work in your booth in advance. If the booths are all properly manned, then we will be able to use other volunteers in other areas (such as concession).

I know there is going to be a lot more info coming out between now and Sunday. These were things that are on the top of my head tonight. Keep checking your email between now and then to make sure you have all of the most updated information.

If you have further questions, feel free to email me (team4kyle@yahoo.com) and I will try and get back to you (if I don't...email me again!)

Thank you all so much for volunteering your time for such a wonderful family. The Davis' are such kind and loving people and it is so nice to see how much support they are having. Kyle is so lucky to have so many people that love him!!!!

Kim
