LAKELAND, Fla., Aug. 6, 2007 — Beginning today, Publix Super Markets chainwide is offering a free prescription drug program at its 684 Publix Pharmacies for the following oral antibiotics
Amoxicillin
Cephalexin
Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP)
Ciprofloxacin (excluding ciprofloxacin XR)
Penicillin VK
Ampicillin and
Erythromycin (excluding Ery-Tab).
I have asked my doctor to prescribe off the free list for both my daughter and myself. It is a really smart move on Publix part... It's like giving you a $10 gift but you shop in the store while waiting for your prescription to be filled.
