How to keep your kids involved this summer.

Are you looking for a way to keep your kids active and off the couch this summer? You will find great summer activities in the Spring & Summer 2008 Leisure Action guide found on the Brevard County Parks and Recreation site.

Most of the full day camps cost around $60 a week, many with before and after care at an additional cost. There are choices for all ages and many interests, fishing, cooking, swimming lessons, x-treme sports, etc. Also, check to see what summer programs your child's school may be offering.

The Port St. John library also has the following free programs throughout the year:
Story Time: Wednesdays, 10:30am (ages 3 and up)
Story Time for Independent Readers: Wednesdays, 3:30pm (must pre-register)
Toddler Time: Fridays, 11:00am (9-36 mos.)

In the past we have gone to FREE bowling, plus cost of shoe rental, in Titusville and FREE movies at Cobb Theater. I will post that information as soon as I have it.
