Do you want to be on Wheel of Fortune?

Try Out To Be On 'Wheel Of Fortune'

Monday, Sept. 22, Orlando Sentinel

Fans of the show Wheel of Fortune can apply this weekend at SeaWorld Orlando to be contestants when the show comes here to tape episodes in December. The show's promotional vehicle, the "WheelMobile," will set up in SeaWorld's parking lot Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m., giving visitors a chance to fill out contestant applications, play a simulated version of the long-running TV game show, and be evaluated as possible TV contestants. The show, featuring Vanna White and Pat Sajak, will tape episodes Dec. 11-15 in SeaWorld's Bayside Stadium. According to Wheel of Fortune staff, thousands of fans sometimes show up to fill out applications and gather in front of a WheelMobile stage. Applications are drawn at random throughout the event. Individuals are brought on stage in groups of five to participate in a brief interview, play a version of the game's speed-up round and win prizes. The most promising candidates are invited back to participate in final auditions, where some could be selected to appear on the TV show.
